It’s kind of difficult to be a standards singer when there is no place on radio to hear it. Outside of Michael Buble and Norah Jones, few people know there is new music out there from this genre. The best of these psuedo-unknowns is Jamie Cullum. Cullum brings an edge to the jazzy pop he offers. Great example of this is his cover of Radiohead’s greatest song, High and Dry. You will get an idea of his versatility from These are the Days, I’m All Over It, Twentysomething, and Photograph.
